Doctor
Consult ScanSureX patients over video and issue digital prescriptions that reach them the moment you sign them.
We review your applicationAbout this programme
You keep your own calendar and your own fee. ScanSureX brings the patient, takes the payment before the slot, and puts the call and the prescription pad in one browser tab. Registry verification is done once and then every prescription you write carries its signature block automatically — there is no per-prescription signing step.
Worth knowing first
Patients can only book the slots you open, at the consultation fee on your profile.
ABDM registry verification builds your signature block into every prescription — no drawing, no uploading, no extra click.
The fee is captured and verified before the booking is confirmed, so you never chase it.
Signing up
You are a doctor joining the platform, in the provider portal on port 3003.
- 1Register
Name, email and phone is all it takes to create the account. You can look around immediately; you cannot take bookings yet.
- 2Upload your credentials
Medical degree, licence or ID proof. This is what a ScanSureX administrator reads.
- 3Wait for approval
Approval — not registration — is what makes you visible to patients. An unapproved profile appears in no search.
- 4Verify with the registry
Enter your HPR ID once. The registry confirms your name, registration number, council and system of medicine, and that becomes the signature on everything you prescribe. Your HPR ID is stored as a credential and shown masked even back to you.
- 5Publish availability
Open slots on your calendar. An empty calendar means no bookings, however approved you are.
Day to day
You are working your list in the provider portal.
- 1See the day's bookings
Paid, confirmed bookings arrive on your schedule with the patient and the reason for the visit.
- 2Join the call
The join window is 10 minutes before the slot to 60 minutes after it, enforced by the server on both sides.
- 3Pick who is being treated
A consult booking records the ScanSureX account, not which family member is in front of you — you choose the patient before prescribing.
- 4Prescribe
Search the approved catalogue. For an online consult it offers only medicines cleared for telemedicine; the mode travels with the search.
- 5Issue it
Issuing publishes the prescription to the patient's account, where they can print it or fill it at a partner pharmacy.
- 6Cancel with a reason if you must
Cancellations carry a reason and are visible to the patient and the platform.
Good to know
- Registration is not approval — an unapproved doctor is invisible to patients.
- The join window (10 minutes before, 60 minutes after) is enforced server-side; joining far too early or too late is refused.
- Registry verification is what removes manual signing. Until it is done, prescriptions have no automatic signature block.
- Online consultations can only prescribe medicines cleared for telemedicine.
- Consultations are not an emergency service, and the platform tells patients so.
How money moves
The fee shown on your profile is charged through Razorpay when the patient books, and the booking is only confirmed once the gateway's signature verifies.
