About this programme

You are the shop behind the Medicines service: the licensed pharmacy that holds the stock, lists it, and packs what patients buy. The platform pays you before you accept an order, allocates from your batches oldest-expiry-first so you cannot dispense something about to expire, and refuses to touch anything expired, blocked or recalled.

Worth knowing first

Paid before you pack

An order only reaches you after the patient's payment has been captured and verified.

Batch-level stock

Inventory is held as dated batches with storage conditions, and allocation is oldest-expiry-first automatically.

Delivery is handled

A ScanSureX courier collects from your counter and runs it to the patient.

Signing up

You run a licensed pharmacy, in the chemist portal on port 3007.

  1. 1
    Register the pharmacy

Pharmacy name, owner, phone, full address with pincode, drug licence number, GST number, PAN and the licence expiry date.

  2. 2
Expect a code on every sign-in

The portal emails a six-digit one-time code at every login, not only the first.

  3. 3
    Upload four documents

Drug licence, GST certificate, PAN card and address proof. Approval is refused outright if any is missing.

  4. 4
    Get approved

An administrator works a checklist and writes review notes. Nothing can be listed before this.

Day to day

You are running the shop's ScanSureX counter.

  1. 1
    Submit a product

Each product needs an image and a real description — a token line will be rejected. Submitting does not list it.

  2. 2
    Clear two gates

A registered pharmacist verifies the product clinically, then an administrator approves it. Only then is it active and visible. This is true for over-the-counter items as well.

  3. 3
    Stock it as batches

Add inventory with batch number, manufacture and expiry dates, quantity received and available, and storage condition. Batches are how the platform keeps you compliant.

  4. 4
    Accept the order

Paid orders arrive in your queue. Accepting is your commitment to fulfil it.

  5. 5
    Pack it

Stock is allocated from a valid, unexpired batch, oldest expiry first — the service picks, not the shelf.

  6. 6
    Hand to the courier

A delivery partner picks up and takes it from there; you can follow the order's state.

  7. 7
Returns come back through the platform

A patient raises a return with a reason and ScanSureX approves or refuses it. It is not settled at your counter.

Good to know

  • Every login needs the emailed one-time code.
  • A product needs BOTH pharmacist verification and admin approval before it sells — over-the-counter included.
  • A submission without an image, or with a thin description, will not pass.
  • Expired, blocked and recalled batches cannot be dispensed at all; allocation is oldest-expiry-first and is not yours to override.
  • Prescription-only medicine will not reach your queue until a pharmacist has approved the prescription.

How money moves

The patient pays in full online, before you accept

Orders are captured through Razorpay at checkout, so an order in your queue is already paid for. Refunds follow a return the platform has approved.

Questions

Can I refuse an order?
Raise it with the platform rather than leaving it unaccepted — the patient has already paid.
Why can I not sell a product I have listed?
It is almost always waiting on one of the two gates. The submission shows which.
Who pays for delivery?
Delivery runs through the platform's courier partners; the patient's order covers it at checkout.
