Licence and documents

About this programme

You sit behind the chemists: the wholesale end of the medicine supply chain. What matters technically is that the batch you supply keeps its identity — batch number, manufacture and expiry dates — all the way to the patient, which is what makes the platform's expiry and recall enforcement possible at all.

Worth knowing first

Batches keep their identity

Dates and batch numbers travel into the chemist's inventory rather than being flattened into a quantity.

Recalls actually land

A blocked or recalled batch becomes undispensable across every pharmacy immediately.

Licensed counterparties

Every pharmacy you supply through ScanSureX has had its drug licence checked by the platform.

Signing up

You are a wholesale distributor, in the distributor portal on port 3008.

  1. 1
    Register the company

Company name, phone, GST number, PAN, wholesale licence number and its expiry date.

  2. 2
Expect a code on every sign-in

A six-digit one-time code is emailed at every login.

  3. 3
    Upload three documents

Wholesale licence, GST certificate and PAN card. Missing any of them blocks approval.

  4. 4
    Get approved

An administrator reviews the documents and approves the company before you can supply anyone.

Day to day

You are supplying pharmacies on the platform.

  1. 1
    Supply batches

Wholesale batches flow into a chemist's inventory carrying batch number, manufacture and expiry dates and storage condition.

  2. 2
    Keep the dates honest

Those dates drive the platform's oldest-expiry-first allocation and its refusal to dispense expired stock. A wrong date is a compliance failure, not a typo.

  3. 3
    Handle recalls

A recalled batch is blocked and stops being dispensable everywhere at once, without anyone visiting a shelf.

Good to know

  • Every login needs the emailed one-time code.
  • Wholesale licence, GST and PAN must all be uploaded before approval — there is no partial start.
  • Batch dates are load-bearing: they drive allocation order and the expiry refusal.
  • A blocked or recalled batch stops being dispensable platform-wide immediately.

How money moves

Wholesale terms are between you and the pharmacy

ScanSureX records the supply chain and enforces compliance on it. What you charge a pharmacy is your commercial arrangement with that pharmacy.

Questions

Do we deal directly with patients?
No. You supply pharmacies; the pharmacy fulfils the patient's order.
What happens if a licence expires?
Keep the expiry current in your profile — the platform tracks it as part of your standing.
